Request:
Currently when you set a beatgrid, it starts at 1. I suggest that we allow a zero-based index for the beatgrid.
e.g. 0, 1, 2, 3 for first four beats, then '4' is the start of the next bar
instead of: 1, 2, 3, 4 for first four beats, then '5' is the start of the next bar
How:
In the settings panel under "Control Preferences", have a checkbox for "Start Beatgrid index at 0"
Why:
This would make it way easier to land a new track's '0' on a 16 or 32 beat of a previous track. This helps shorten the mental gymnastics we have to do for landing 1 on 17, 33, etc.
I could not find this mentioned anywhere in the forum. I'm surprised this hasn't been implemented yet.
Thanks!
