Guys, have you seen Native Instruments just announced Traktor Kontrol S4 mk3 ???
The new "haptic" motorized jogwheel makes me crazy as hell !!!
I was dreaming of this kind of hybrid jogwheel for yearsssss 😍😍😍
Best of both worlds: cdj mode and motorised mode !
Imagine the kind of players that can be made now !!
From tiny digital turntables for portablists, to professional LIGHT WEIGHT Rane12/sc500m player and new club standard deck like cdj 2000 !!!
The "haptic" thing is also mad: cue points / markers feedbacks, beat juggling / scratch helpers ...
Just wondering how the technology works behind, how is it made and if it is reliable/accurate enough ...

We have to wait and see. Think I saw a late Sept official release date.
They did away with TP Scratch as well. It's just one software now TP3 and DVS with any mixer with necessary i/o
No more hex hacking
If they add video support, parallel waveforms and flexible grid ....that will be immense.

Feeling cue points like an iPhone vibration will be cool and helpful. The whole line up looks awesome. I was hoping to see an updated scratch mixer. The Z2 aged well but I'd like to see a new one with that new NI look.
I know this is Serato forum but it's still the best place to talk DJ gear regardless of who makes it.

That's the joy of this place. Free discussion. I bet Serato doesn't mind as it gives them tips on what users think of the alternatives. Valuable data.
I remember my Native Instruments Kontrol X1 had official mapping for Serato Scratch Live. I still have that unit collecting dust.

I really like the light ring on the outside being used as a poisiton indicator as well. No more stickers and having to reset the cue to reset your position of your sticker.
