Hi there. New in the forum.
So i always used my cdj 800 with a mixer and no laptop but im tired of carrying around cases of cds. I have a rane sl1 that im going to use with scratch live and my cdjs.
I want to know if its possible to use those decks in deck 1 and 2 and also use a midi controller to control deck 3 and 4 ( i need the 3rd deck minimum )
i thank you all for the help.
Cheers

An sl1 will only unlock 2 decks regardless of what ever midi device you add

or get an sl3-4, but you'd probably save yourself a lot of hassle by just getting a 4 deck controller if your after 3-4 decks

get an sx2 or 3 and you got what u looking for. sl 3 or 4 will do the job. but then u gonna have to get an extra midi controller hardware. ddj sx is pretty much a controller with built in sl box. better yet get the sx 3 sinc it got dual usb ports.
