Hi,
Serato DJ Pro doesnot launch due to error that VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing. I had to reinstall an earlier version of Serato.
(Windows 7 Pro installation, laptop optimised.)
Someone a solution?
Thx

i had to install it a few times for it to work if you have issues installing runtime and it hangs just quit out of it and try again,

Thx for the tips, Cwite and Popnwave.
Now I encountered a new message, saying that 0x000007g could not be read.. No clue what that's about...
I am not giving up :-)

I think you need to provide a more informative example of the error message. A Screenshot would probably be best.
BSODs with that error code can be anything.

Hey guys,
I got exactly the same problem. The error is called 0x81f40001 and that the application requires 64bit Windows 7 or higher.
Is there any connection with not getting my Hardware connected to Serato DJ since today? Scratch Live does still work fine though.
Glad for any help

Hey A-to-the-O, you won't be able to run a 64-bit application if your OS is only 32-bit.
We still offer a Windows 32-bit version of Serato DJ Pro for people with old 32-bit versions of Windows 7, you can find it here > serato.com
Cheers

Also make sure if you have Windows 7 64 bit - you do have Service Pack 1 installed.
if not - do Windows updates !!!
PS. make sure you skip KB971033
or if you have already installed it - delete it.

after more than 20 reboots... no success :-( same error
still to do: redistributables Visual C++ (Cwite)
