Video's flickering

So Im new to this serato video thing and I have a 90s party coming up and I will be playing all videos from that decade. The videos tend to flicker alot on some videos and others are fine. Anyone else having this issue? What can I do to my computer to fix it.

Mac or pc? What are the specs? Make sure you have your video drivers updated from the manufacturer.

You certainly have enough power to do video.

Do the videos that flicker always flicker? Are there some that always work right?

mediaarea.net is a great utility to compare videos. You can drag a video into it and it will tell you what codecs it uses and other useful info. Do one that works for you all the time, cut n paste it here. And then do one that flickers and paste it here as well and maybe we can spot the difference. It might be bad encoding or source material.

Try updating the nvidia drivers if needed. Should be to do this from nvidia's control panel on the machine.
