Second controller - Drunk Party

Hi everyone,
I have a party in a train (yes... a train!) next month and it will be crowded and full of drunk people. So I would like to leave home my ddj-sx and my main laptop, use the old laptop and buy a second cheap controller. I don't want to risk the main equipment...

I would like to understand if I can use another controller that is not officially supported in the list of the serato hardware list. I know that I can midi map, but...
1. The ddj-sx must be connected to using the midi map feature?
2. I did not buy serato dj software licence but it came with the controller. Can I use it with another controller?
3. What do you suggest?

I found those b-stock controllers for a cheap price:
- Hercules DJ Control Glow Green
- Behringer CMD Studio 2a

Some natively supported device containing an audio interface must be used to activate decks and allow midi mapping. This includes supported controllers, interface box, or mixer.

No. Being you do not actually have the SW activated via the SDJ expansion. The "license" included with the SX pertains to said SX only.

A small upgrade ready controller combined with SDJ expansion (mixtrack edge) or a small SDJ ready controller (Akai AMX, etc.)

None of these will work without a supported SDJ device connected.

I will be worried about even having a laptop is such confined space like a train with sober people not to even mention drunk ones.

Denon MC 2000 you can found on eBay for 100€ + sdj license. At least you will have good pitch faders
