If I already own a serato dj controller will I have to purchase another license to run the dj2go2 with serato dj instead of the bundled intro.

Hi ryeski,
If you own a Serato DJ enabled controller, then it's the controller itself that unlocks the hardware. This will mean that if you purchase the DJ2Go2 you would need to purchase a Serato DJ license, unless you wished to use in the Intro only.
I hope that helps :)
Cheers,

hey am thinking of this Numark dj2go2. My question is I have MC6000MK2 which came with Intro but Denon offered a license during a promotional period for SDJ. Can I be able to use the code for this?

Hey DJKayce,
Yes, the license code you received with your MC6000MK2 is for a Serato DJ license. If you redeem the code then you can use thus license with any Intro hardware (including the DJ2Go2).

Oh wow. Good to know but do I need to deactivate the mc6000mk2 when I buy this unit? Before using it with another intro controller?

The license is on your computer, so you can just connect any Intro hardware :)

Hi Michael, excuse me for reviving an old thread but I had a question regarding the Numark DJ2GO2 Touch. I'm running Serato DJ Pro (2.3.0) with a Rane SL2 for my main decks. It runs beautifully as is. Recently I picked up the new Numark DJ2GO2 Touch to play around but when I plug it in Serato doesn't recognize it. It lights up and the Macbook (Mojave 10.14.3) recognizes it in the Sound tab but that's it. I've tried switching cables and multiple restarts but I get nothing. Am I missing anything? Any help to point me in the right direction is appreciated.

You will need to run Serato DJ Lite or purchase Serato DJ Pro license to run Serato DJ Pro.

Thanks for responding!
That's the thing, I already have Serato DJ Pro purchased. I have my account open right now and I see a big green check mark next to 'Full License'. I'm able to play around with the two "decks" in the software even when the Rane SL2 is not connected.
Is there a code for this controller or something I have to enter into my account?
When I plug it in it doesn't prompt me for a trial, nor does it mention anything at the bottom in yellow like when the Rane SL2 is connecting.
