Hi Serato Team,

what about the Support for Pioneer XDJ1000 MK2??? 🤔
I use Serato DJ and Scratch Live with a Rane SL1, Pioneer DDJ SX and a DJM 900nxs2 since 6 Years and i will not change my Software to RB. 😢

Serato DJ needs to add HID support for XDJ-1000MK2. I mean the XDJ-1000s have it, I can't imagine it would take too much development time to integrate XDJ-1000MK2. This would obviously take people away from switching to Rekordbox, which is Rekordbox's ultimate goal. User retention is key at this moment when there is more competition on the market.

The USB stick and control tone is a hack but it does work for the time being, but it's no replacement for HID support

Modification one is supported by Serato DJ, but MK2 is not. WTF?

What we need to do? open a thread on Pioneer forum? Or send message to their support?

I did this already. Pioneer support told me to use Rekordbox because that it was it was designed for. They also told me that the burden falls on Serato to support it.

Serato support told me that unless there is a big enough demand, xdj1000mk2 will not support HID via serato. They told me to go to all the serato request feature forums and +1 posts for HID support.

+1 Hi, I've just been trapped by this crazy marketing behavior! Unfortunately, I didn't pay enough attention, and what a surprise when I tried to use my brand new XDJ 1000MK2 with serato DJ... It was ok with mk1 but no more with mk2... But seriously?? It's such a bad joke! I no more use CD's but I wanted to play both with USB keys and serato DJ with a friendly interface like xdj... Bad luck for me and all serato users. So spend 2000€ more and buy cdj 2000 nexus or forget!! SHAME. You want me to leave you for Pioneer DJ software? WTF!!

Exactly the same feeling mate. Recently I've installed Rekordbox, there is always support for any Pioneer hardware.

This really needs to happen already...It's now going on 2020. This is a great setup with the djm s9 and if we could get full support of these players including showing the waveform on the player like it does on Rekordbox this would be dope for the dj. Make this happen please
