Hi! Maybe a stupid question, but I am little confused about using warp markers. In serato support page and also in Serato DJ it tells you that you can use as many warp markers as needed. That is not true. I searched old posts about warp markers and found 2013 serato reply that maximum numbers of warp markers is 128. There are many old live drummer songs that only align correctly if warp markers is set every 4 counts. So is there any fix this, or should I just stick with the 128 warp markers? ;) Many over 4minute old songs have over 128bars and if that maximum count is raised it could be used more clever (mixing non electronic <-> electronic etc.)
So if someone have good solution on this I would be very happy to hear!

The work around is to set beat grids in the beginning and end of the tracks. But this doesn't help if you are trying to lay other drums over top of the whole song. You could also use ableton to warp and "fix" the live drummer track.

I have a lot of tracks with warped grids and I've not yet hit a limit, whether it's 128 I'm not sure.
I tend to find that you don't have to warp every bar as some are close enough, even if you're overlaying a drum track. Sometimes, you're forced to compromise where you place the marker to get the overall best effect for the bar as you can't add markers on individual beats, so it's never perfect.

I do every other measure instead of every measure. That way you don’t run out of warp markers

@kmeex - yes there's a limit of 128 warp markers.
I understand that a live drummer track or a track with no quantisation might need more attention and therefore more warp markers - best method to go about beatgridding these would be to be a bit frugal with your warp markers and only use them where necessary.
