Serato DJ 1.9.6 Disconnecting During Set for 2sec w/ SL4 and DJM-900SRT & 900NXS

I'm experiencing an actual disconnection from the hardware mid-set. Not a USB dropout.
This has happened at least 5 times a set last weekend. It disconnects for 2 seconds, plays in internal soundcard mode, then connects back and plays from the SL4-box / mixer. It's very embarrassing in a club setting.

My Setup:
Macbook Air 13 (Early 2014)
8GB Memory, 1600 MHz DDR3
1.7 GHz Intel Core i7
OSX 10.9.5

1- I've tried replacing all usb cables, using original usb cables that came with SL4
2- I've tried updating all firmware on all possible setups in the club and still getting this issue
-SL4 (firmware updated)
-DJM-900SRT (firmware updated)
-DJM-900NXS (firmware updated)
3- All wifi / Bluetooth / and energy saver precautions taken
4- All other apps closed
5- Even disabling "indexing" in Terminal
6- Using a RAM CLEANER to free up RAM
7- Did a PR RAM reboot
8- Tried it on both USB ports of my laptop

and after all this I'm still getting disconnections.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm using DVS expansion pack with pitch in time plugin.

This sounds like loose tabs with in the USB port, when these tabs become looose they lose connection and disconnect Serato as if the USB plug was pulled out. Movement or heavy vibrations can cause these disconnections when you have a loose port. This can easily be diagnosed by simply wiggling to USB cable while connected to Serato, if it disconnects that's your issue.
