A few Questions about the NEW Serato 'Sample' app.

I'm excited about the new Serato Sample app. I'm also trying to determine if it will fit into my particular workflow. I have a few questions….

1. Can I drag & drop samples directly into the pads?

2. Can I record live into each pad?

3. Does Serato Sample work in Presonus Studio One?

4. Can I use Serato Sample while playing along side SDJ to augment the SDJ sampler?

5. Does Serato Sample include basic sample editing functions like (trim, copy, paste, truncate, undo, etc.)?

6. Does the Pitch N' Time part of Serato Sample work the same as it does in SDJ in order to 'warp' my samples?

@Kane- Thanks for the reply! I'm leaning more towards a live performance sampler that I can use along side my Roland DJ-808.

Hopefully, Serato will implement some of the features I listed above in an update to improve the sampler capabilities in SDJ. Thanks again for all the good info!
