Look for a ScratchLIVE_backup folder within your internal drive and external drive (if using an external).

Open the backup folder and check the subcrates folder, are all your missing crate files listed within the subcrates folder?

You wont be able to open the individual .crate files. I simply wanted you to check the subcrates folder to make sure the individual .crate files were in the backup folder, which they are :) We're almost ready to proceed, but I have a few more questions:

Are you using a Mac or PC/Windows computer?

Do you use an external hard drive to store music?

Cool, do this then:

Close SSL if open

Open your external hard drive

Rename the _ScratchLIVE_ folder to old_ScratchLIVE_

Locate the _ScratchLIVE_backup folder and rename it to _ScratchLIVE_ (this will force SSL to read the backup folder as your default _ScratchLIVE_ on your external drive)

Restart SSL and your old crates and library should load.

Yeah, iTunes is an organization freak. Be sure to turn off the "keep iTunes folder organized" option within the Advanced tab of the iTunes Preferences window. This will stop iTunes from moving files between folders within your iTunes Music folder, which will help cut down pink files within SSL crates.

How exactly has your backup folder been renamed?

It should be like this -->> _ScratchLIVE_

If you forgot to add underscores and/or if the proper letters haven't been capitalized, make changes to the folder name so it reads _ScratchLIVE_
