Last night i used SL instead of SDJ noticed this SL sounds so much better than SDJ! I did it cause SDJ 1.9.6 has crash on me twice at 2 different events in the last 2 weeks! Last time i used SDJ on my Rane 62 mixer when i finished spinning for the night i left the settings the way i dj that night. I used my 62 with SL last night and had to turn all the settings down from the way i left from the last event! Plus my Mac ran so much cooler! DO BETTER SERATO!

Yes, it's a known thing. Many of us still on SSL for this reason and others for now.

As i explained in another topic, i am convinced SDJ Intro sound as good as SSL.

Both have the exact same interface (Intro is a bit more limited since it is a free version), with same options, same fonts for library....

I really doubt Serato has putted lot a money into a SDJ Intro free version based on SSL, so they did certainly not modify the sound.

Since you have both, could you also as i did make a recording (externally) from the same song, same configuration (autogain or no autogain) and provide us the samples ?

I have the feeling the limiter of SSL/Intro is giving a better sound.
