Serato Pyro! Can we have this as a plugin for serato DJ please

Johnny H 5:04 PM - 16 May, 2017
We'll here I am trying our a new app for my iPhone called pyro by serato!

It's a continuous music player for the iPhone that trully does a great job of mixing track after track brilliantly. So much better than the auto player in serato! The difference is night and day,

For anyone with an iPhone it's well worth downloading and playing with

As for serato DJ it would be so nice to have this quality of auto mix for the first hour or the odd visit to the bar or before the night starts etc.

Well done to serato for a great app, lets hope we see it in serato DJ real soon, trully one of the best auto mix apps period

+1, but they gotta do it right. I want to be able to create crates on the go, that sync to my SDJ gig laptop

Hey guys,

No plans to implement any auto mixing to Serato DJ. We believe they should be two separate products.

Cheers.

What a shame! May be there are serato customers that think differently to serato!

at least make it a plug in for the computer(not just phone and ipad), so you can plug in a 1/4 inch jack to your mixer

Spot on mr goodkat 😉

If serato made it a plugin then serato customers who don't want it can discard the plugin and the many serato customers who would love to see the feature in serato could use it, we are praising serato for a great very useful app.

It really is about time that serato took a step back a listened for once to there customer base, rather than always coming up with their own ideas all the time.

There's also a massive amount of Serato users that'd hate to see any auto-mixing feature in Serato DJ, I'm personally on this side.

As I previously said, if it were a plugin, you would not install it! It's that simple, but it would give everyone the best of both worlds 😉

I'm right there with you Jordan ... It was mentioned about plugging in an 1/8" cable into the mixer and I feel like the iOs app is completely perfect for that and there's no use in having to re-write the code in SDJ to implement yet another plug in which in turn could compromise stability within the program as a whole whether the plug in is used or not ... There are other options for auto play for the times when it's needed by other softwares if it's needed/wanted that much

I also agree with this. Keep it by default not enable and not installed.

Only for people who desire to have that option, they need to download and install it.

This will also give you an indication of how many people did download it.

When you only have a Controller without imput, this is really ideal.

Why would you not be plugging into an RCA jack on your mixer? Unless you are speaking of the output from the laptop but that is not 1/4" either that is 3.5mm you know............. the same exact size that is on your iPhone or iPad :)

Couldn't agree more, but I still see a major value in getting these two pieces of software to work together, by making crates on the go, that sync to my SDJ gig laptop
