iMac - OS minimum for Serato

I've looked at the software specs at Serato's page for minimum but wonder if can use an older(2008) iMac? It comes with Yosemite, 10.10.5.

For SDJ 1.8 or above a machine with an i7 processor is recommended (actually required) for 1.7 versions you don't need an iprocessor.
