Serato DJ with A&H Xone K1

I'd like to use SDJ in 4-deck mode without using a controller. So my plan is to use an Allen & Heath Xone K1 to control the 4 virtual decks in SDJ via midi, and then output the audio to an analogue mixer using a Rane SL4 interface. I'm wondering whether this would work and whether anyone is using SDJ in this setup?

I can't see any reason for this not to work with the given equipment,
The SL4 will give you 4 decks, which can be MIDI mapped to internal mode with any MIDI controller.
It just depends on how you plan to map the controllers, it certainly has the options to make a useable workflow.

How would you map the K1?

I was planning to use the default Serato mapping for the K1

I have a DDJ-SB which is a 2 channel controller so I only see 2 decks on SDJ. Will the Rane SL4 allow 4-deck use in SDJ?

Ohh sorry.
My mistake- I wasn't actually familiar with the K1, did not realise it was an OSA.
In the case, it's essentially plug and play (obviously with an SL4 to route audio)

Not really,
As both are soundcards for SDJ, the software will only recognise one at a time to route audio.

Sorry what I meant was I have a DDJ-SB now. I'm trying to replace this with a K1+SL4+mixer setup

Oh ok.

Yes, the SL4 is a 4 channel soundcard which will allow 4 decks in SDJ.
These can then be routed to a 4ch mixer, and controlled by a K1.
