Too bad I can' ANY version of Serato past 1.9.1. since Serato DJ is TERRIBLE with Windows 7. Biggest disappointment of all time. Spent $1700 on a new mixer and so I had to upgrade to the newer Serato DJ to replace SSL. Now I can't upgrade to any newer version of Serato DJ.

I don't quite understand the Anti drift, I haven't tested it yet, does it basically mean easier sync?

could you please add an instant back up files button instead of having to wait a week and a delete double files button

Watch the video in the post. It explains Anti-Drift very clearly.

Problem with the recording function fixed.
Thank you David W. (Serato) for the quick help!

I can sum up Serato DJ 1.9.6 in one term, "Boombastic".

Gosh you guys are really taking the work out of being a DJ LOL!!!!! That is what makes being a DJ is being able to lock a beat on your own now the computer software does it, I would love to see some of these DJ's try and mix real disco or R&B with real instruments without the help>>>>> Crash Dummies 1.9.6
DJ East 137 9:51 PM - 31 March, 2017
You are absolutely correct Jack. I don't know if one can rightfully call themselves a DJ if one cannot mix without the assistance of technology.

Tempo slider doesn't come up as an option for me.... What did I miss?

When is Serato Dj going to be a 64 bit program? Maybe that would eliminate the need for multiple bug fixes....
keithers 2:49 AM - 4 April, 2017
is SDJ 1.9.6 working ok with Mac OS X 10.12.4? I haven't updated my MacBook in a longtime
geocollins 6:16 PM - 4 April, 2017
I like Serato and have used both Tracktor and Serato for few years. I remember when Tracktor went to a 64 bit program,
WOW! What a difference! I am using Win7
and I runs great. Any techs out there can explain? All new computers are 64 bit...
geocollins 7:13 PM - 4 April, 2017
Addendum: this will probably work better with DVS being 64 bit.

Just listened to a couple of your mixes on here: djjamminjack.podomatic.com

They sound pretty average to be honest. Maybe you should try and use some of the features in this software to help clean them up a little?

Just sayin' :) <3

64 bit programs essentially allow the application to use more system resources in a potentially more efficient manner, resulting in an overall performance boost. The only way you'll notice a true boost in performance is if the application is using the max amount of resources that a 32-bit application is allotted and needs more overhead. I imagine that a 64 bit version of SDJ would yield a speed increase, but it would be so marginal that it wouldn't make that much of a real world difference.

Yes it probably would but i did those mixes in 2006 and 07, i do't edit and want to sound average, by the way you were probably still an egg in your mom's womb when i was carrying crates. I don't need a program to beat match and by the way when i get time i'll do some real stuff without any editing and that has consistent beat changes and different tempo's, I think and know for sure you missed my whole point so i'm kinda of childish replying to a DJ THAT PROBABLY ON MIXES 4/4 HOUSE BEATS AND TRACKED DRUM PATTERNS.
