Is there a way to stop midi notes being sent from the S9 to the Push 2?
I am running Serato DJ with a Pioneer DJMS9 and also have Ableton Push 2 controlling Ableton on the same laptop. I have it for finger drumming and what not. When I press the 'Load' button on my S9 it sends a midi note out which also triggers a drum pad in drum racks in Ableton, so a snare goes off. This happens with several other buttons as well. Is there a way to turn off this feature so the S9 doesn't send out midi notes to the Push 2?
Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I think this is a shared midi signal (S9 & Push) being sent to Ableton itself..........

Yes correct. Thank you for correcting me. What I meant is that it is a shared midi signal being sent to ableton. If the push 2 wasn't hooked up it would still happen.
Anyway to put a stop to this?

The same occured with me when I used my SX (the same with my SZ, SP1 & SZ) with Ableton Push. There will have to be some midi reassigning or masking for this to be fixed.

It was the other way around on me... I used my Push 1 to do live drum sequencing with Serato via LINK and some buttons/notes on Push will trigger some Samples in Serato.
I was forced to get the DJ-808 for this reason, lol!
But I'm happier now... starting to build some good live-remix sets with my Roland GAIA synth and Boss RC-505.

I figured out the first part, Serato sending midi to Ableton. I turned off input from the S9 in the Ableton settings. Now I am having trouble with ableton sending midimessages to Serato. When I press a pad on my Push it sends a midi message to Serato. So for example, there are three passing the push that set cue points on my loaded track.i figured out that to turn this off I have to disable midi from ableton sim the Serato setup. The only problem is, when I shut down Serato and reopen it, the midi ports are enabled again! Obviously I can just uncheck them again but this is annoying. Anyone know how to save the setting so that when I reopen the midi enabling is not checked for the ableton user and live ports?

It should really be triggering both as they are identical midi signals.

MIDI PATCH BAY!!! FREE PROGRAM SAVES THE DAY. YOUR CAN ROUTE INDIVIDUAL MIDI DEVICES TO OTHER CHANNELS SO THEY DON'T CONFLICT.
