no files on new laptop!!!! HELP!

Hey guys
so I got a new laptop for xmas... yay me!!
so naturally am setting it up ready for my next gig however am a bit stuck...

have copied all files to HD, with serato closed of course. opened it and followed all the instructions as detailed in the section dedicated to transferring to a new laptop.

I have got up to the bit where u re scan the ID3 tags however NOTHING happens!!!! everything stays blank, I have not crates or tracks or anything (I would at least expect to see all the tracks orange in colour, indicating that I need to relocate them etc etc.

am I doing something wrong? or does it just take an eternity due to the amount of files?

any1 help???

After you do the instructions click analyze files in the offline player

Have you imported aff of your files into SDJ already?

Yes installed sdj, kept it closed, copied all the files over and that's as far as got,

When pressing analyze files hold down command for mac or control for windows

Try re-creating the crates in SDJ, then re-import all of your files and see if it works.

try opening the files menu than click rescan id3 tags
