Does a Windows laptop need a Directory named Serato?

Since I don't run Video, I have renamed SeratoVideo.exe to SeratoVideo2.exe in my "Serato 1.8.2" directory and also in my "Serato 1.9.1" directory, so it won't load. Serato DJ 1.9.5 is in the un-renamed "Serato" directory it was installed in. If I rename SeratoVideo.exe in that directory, Installer recognizes something is missing and re-installs it. I can also rename this directory to "Serato 1.9.5", but then my laptop has no plain "Serato" directory.

Will this cause a problem with the Library, _Serato_, or anything else??

Honestly, I would just leave those files alone.
Video can be activated/deactived in the setup menu anyway and altering core files just seems like a good way to cause a crash if the software looks for something that isn't there anymore.

That is correct - but SeratoVideo still loads whether or not it's turned on. No reason to load it if you're not using it. I think Mac users have an option whether or not to even install it??

Anyway, question still remains - does a Windows laptop have to have a Directory named Serato?
