Songs distorted and slow when used as media player

All of a sudden, the DJ Intro software when used as a media player for music, is crunchy, distorted and slow.

I've searched for answers, can't see any. Updated Serato, restarted it several times and tried multiple tracks. Also adjusted buffer latency to no effect.

Help.

I'm chasing similar issues... recently bought a new Windows 10 PC. My DJ Intro seems to work fine when using Numark deck but going into a Mackie FX8-usb the songs star dragging and popping badly! I just tried DJ Intro though the laptop speakers and the same thing. If I plug in (or unplug) the USB cable, it straightens up for about 10-15 seconds and then starts dragging again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Please firstly check if your computer if your computer meets the minimum system requirements on the Serato DJ Intro product page:

serato.com.

It's a good idea to run through these audio dropouts guides too:

Mac:

Windows:
support.serato.com

DJ Gordy, please note that your Mackie Mixer is not supported or tested with Serato
