Roland x Serato dudes, I assume you have thought about this type of device. And maybe its in the works, maybe you wanted to get some sales on the DJ-808 first or whatever... But man, with the demise of Rane, seems like this would have gone over especially well...

- RCA in/out for DVS

- 1/4" for studio line in/out

- standard MIDI in/out

- USB in/out(host)


Now this would be revolutionary and simple. Because it would be quite a universal tool for both DJs and Producers and be usable for EVERYONE. It would work equally well in the studio and on the stage. It would solve some long standing wants and needs.

Removing the controller from the DJ-808 would be the next step. If have one for something similar to an SP1.

This is the start of the partnership so I'd expect more. It's probably being planned as we speak as things like this take years to develop.

Please make more modular devices. An I/O box, seperate decks and a performance mixer, etc. Business wise: I think people eventually pay more for separate devices than for all in ones..
