Hi. Wondering if it would be good to implement different profiles for serato.

Eg. Can set up a practise profile with all my scratch beat samples etc and that way when I use my GIG Profile all those samples beats etc won't show up in the all crate of my GIG profile.

And also a weddings profile etc.

You could probably achieve this by using parent crates and collapsing the ones you don't need at the time.
Not the most elegant solution, but it could work depending on your library setup.

You can do this on Windows with creating multiple Windows profiles which I did ;)

Depends how much you need/want to separate - is folders/crates enough (easier to deal with generally / less confusing) for organizing or do you need certain things to be ONLY visible in a given serato instance when started up ?
If the later - you could keep multiples of your
_serato_
folder on your HD for different means (that folder holds all crates/playlists for that hard drive...)... but this is quite brutal/hack-y.
