Well i think this thing is old but...in SDJ GUI the VU meters are..useless because the only control that affects is the master volume of the controller,if i use gain knobs the onscreen meters are useless and use the onscreen "knobs" with the trackpad during a mix is not good at all,i don't know how are related the gain\master controls between the hardware and software but i think it's a issue,i mix dance music from the 70s,80s and various genres and i adjust manually the gain(yes,autogain in SDJ is not so good,sorry)but have a "traditional" visual response willl be great.I'm on a Terminal Mix2(and yes,it have the VUmeters that only read the master out and not the Pfl level) but i think there is a software solution to connect the gain knobs work with the track VUmeters on the screen,that is supposed to measure the song gain..
