How long of a wait on average are we looking at?

depends, you will usually get a reply in a working day or two,
but those replies are just generic have you tried x,y or z which can be found by a google search,

then you have the tennis match of back and forth asking for info you originally supplied,

and usually the end result is a bug and will be added to the bottom of the list of priorities,

the priorities seem to be
1st supporting new hardware/controllers
2nd adding packs/add on's that generate more money
3rd fixing bugs a lot of which are outstanding years even, but as these fixes don't generate money they're not high priority
