So now that SDJ supports re-mapping of native controllers,
the next logical step would be for us to be able to edit the midi XML & map / remap
specific things in SDJ that don't actually have a GUI button to click & map.
Eg: Mixer controls, vinyl mode etc...
After discussing this in the 1.8.0 Beta area: serato.com
It was suggested that we make a thread & put it out the to all you 'CLEVER GUYS' ;)
I'm asking anyone with any knowledge on editing the SeratoDJ midi XML file to share:
1) Correct midi XML file structure / layout guidelines.
2) SDJ midi input commands
3) SDJ midi output commands
4) Mapping a shift button (or any 2 button type combo)
5) Mapping buttons to be a hold / toggle / on-off etc..
This is just a few things that come to mind, I'm sure many of you need other info
so please feel free to post your questions / comments & most importantly
ALL / ANY HELP & INFO regarding SDJ midi XML editing.
Together I'm sure we can put together something quite substantial,
that would be able to get even the most illiterate of us started.
Let's try make this the 'go-to' thread for all SDJ midi info.
Thanks guys.

I´ve mapped some Controllers for Traktor- now I take hands on my Vestax VCI-380- somethings worked fine but second Layer with "shift" and Pad- Mapping seems buggy?
Mapping Ideas welcome

Yip, when we ask for info they seem to just dodge the question.
Pathetic!
