Serato support have confirmed with me that Serato can't enter MIDI assign mode as my Vestax VCI-380 isn't supported for this function? There are probably a host of other controllers that can't also access MIDI assign mode.

But MIDI is universal in it's operation? Surely Serato can add custom mapping to ALL MIDI controllers. It's simply a mapping a button to a value?

I don't get how this isn't simply standard across EVERY controller out there?

All I want to do is map the "censor" feature to a button on my controller and also asign another button to trigger multi-FX and single FX mode. Then I don't need to ever use my laptop or mouse.
