does anyone know of a way to use wireless headphones with the serato ddj sx2?

The same way you would use them with any other NON bluetooth device assuming you are speaking of bluetooth headphones.

most wireless headphones have some form of delay which is why most dj's never use them. A link to these headphones would be helpful in determining this.

Why? As long as you don't have wireless hands, the wireless headphones are quite pointless.... No need to mention that due to the latency, they are completely useless...

In his defense there are wireless apps that work pretty well. Serato Remote is actually decently latency free. I have found this out from personally testing it........................... that being said I would NEVER use it wirelessly in a live situation. Nor would I use wireless headphones. To each his own. One thing is for sure if the actual connection part is an issue I would avoid this at all costs because troubleshooting would be non-existent here.

One thing is the bandwidth needed to transfer few bites of data for the control surface and the second is the huge amount needed to transfer the sound... This is quite incomparable... ;-)

I've noticed a bit of latency when using Serato Remote wirelessly. Especially when triggering cue points. It's such a big deal when triggering effects but I can definitely tell a difference with cue points. I always use the Remote app with a cable.

Have you tried using different wireless routers? I have noticed differences in routers on my end. Also are you using a Mac or Windows?

Not always true. There are some wireless (audio) technologies that use a total of Zero bandwidth. Think of a wireless Mic.............. Audio being passed, zero latency, zero bandwidth (in terms of computer).

..................which is why I said "assuming" as there are a few ways this is done. Again not something I would do but to each his own.

I'm using Bose bluetooth headphones, without controller just listening to music. I open serato then turn on head set but no sounds comes out of headphones. I have to turn on headphones first then open serato for sound to come through head set is there another way of doing this?
