Connection question, 1/8" to mixer.

I just booked a last minute corporate gig and was told by the client that the venue has a strict policy about DJ's only using there sound system. I thought that was good news.

I spoke to someone from the venue who says the only connection they supply is a 1/8" plug for iPod connection.

Can you guys tell how I can hook up my mixer (rane 64) via this connection?

RCA to 1/8". Session out RCA's

or

the left 1/4 on the mixer to 1/8 and set Serato to mono.
