With the new font you can fit more letters on the cue points plus fit more on the screen for those with decent eyesight. I am a big fan of the newer font. Judging by the huge font you use I am assuming you have trouble seeing the cue point labels, etc?

I think user switchable would be the answer here in terms of font, size and color as it would help many people at one time.

i think the thin font style is good for lower resolution PC coz it can see all letters in a narrow width. but it makes hard to read for higher resolution such as 1920px or more.

Same here, if you want a bigger font, use [CTRL/CMD] + [+]

Ctrl + doesn't give you bigger font. It gives you bigger EVERYTHING , not what we need

I ran scrolling text last night with 1.7.4 and the letters were distorted.

Does this have anything to do with the font change?

I actually LOVE the new font!

Most do as it is simply more functional.

i have yet to compare the fonts,
i used SSL this weekend, as I'm still attached to my HC4500 :-)

The font look the same as SSL to me.

cool, then i'll be used to it.
i gotta take the time to try to map my damn 4500
at least till Serato Remote gets the CUE/STOP added.
that really is the only thing holding me back, from dropping the 4500

TBH - I have been thinking about that! But I have been contemplating becoz that will make me throw 3 Serato Video licenses in the garbage.

I did! But I missed to test the Text Display.

Nah it was for Musiclee but yeah not sure which beta (could have been beta1) but it was one of the first things I noticed as I was out of nowhere able to fit more characters on the cue points which is a HUGE deal for me.
