i know many have been asking for auto-mix fade time (gapless auto-play)

but how about also limiting the time each track plays as well so you don't have to listen to all 7 minutes 23 seconds of Sade's Ordinary Love before it mixes to the next.
So you can set it to 1:30 minute, and every minute and a half it swaps to next song....

Maybe special "playlist" crates where only these crates will follow these "rules"

i know SDJ is meant for DJ's to mix themselves, but remember Mobile DJ's and Clubs do need filler music, cocktail hour music, etc,

got this idea from PCDJ DEX3, they offer both options:
1- Auto-Mix Limit Track, x length
2- Auto-Mix Fade Track, x seconds

So it just mixes out at a set time regardless of where that is in the track?

I'd stil favour the "fade time" and "fade markers" approach. If fade markers are set fade in and out at the markers, otherwise fade at the start and end of the track. That way most "background" music style tracks are probably catered for and for extra-long tracks you can specify exact in/out points

Yes mixes out at time you assign
Not absurd if you are a mobile DJ with a playlist running during breaks or cocktail hour
And it would only apply to the "special" playlist crates

Absurd idea perhaps for you

Or apply to all crates when AUTOPLAY is on.
YOU choose if you want to limit all songs or not

Clicked this link through another thread, horrible idea to set just a time length. BUT, if you can set fade "cues", it could work
