Hi will the new Pioneer XDJ 1000 decks be compatible with the Pioneer DDJ SX with it running through Serato.....I must admit these new units although pricey....look the Bis...and I could easily be tempted and buy a pair, but would love to use it with my SX controller and Serato software... but it appears it comes with Recordbox (Software looks Impressive although i cant comment about how good it is).
Your thoughts be most appreciative.

i dont understand how you can conclude that the unit has inferior sound from watching that you tube clip? Have you actually played with one of these in a club with a good sound system yet?

it said to be an cdj 850 replacement ... and it doesnt have the wolfson DAC like the cd 900nx or the 2000nx
that part doesnt interest me at all.
and knowing pioneer their future xdj 2000 version will have that wolfson DAC and some of the stuff the 2000 nexus has, platter tension, platter lights, maybe even hardware cue points

The fact that it can play Rekordbox or USB files says it all. Also how about the fact that there are RCA's outputs. What else would be OUTput from RCA's other than sound? Also in order for it to have inferior sound from the 2000's, 900's etc it MUST have sound to begin with, no?
