If I start Serato Scratch Live I only get one deck to play music. Where can i apply the second one?

Do have to have one of the required hardware peripherals to use Scratch Live.

No, not now, but i want to buy it, but before I want to test it with 2 decks, because it's not very cheap for me.

Well I'm sorry but there no demo version you can try out. One of the hardwares are required in order to "unlock" the full version and use it to its full functionality.

Do you know if I can control SSL with 2 CDJ 400 native(without timecode cd) and have another CD in the CDJ400 to play it? Not at the same time but without switching the cables?

Hi sharkmarc.

Konix is right - to use Scratch Live performance mode with two decks, you will need either the SL1 or SL3 hardware. These allow you to use all the functionality with the Scratch Live software.
The CDJ400s are native controllers for use with the SL1 or SL3 and Scratch Live, so they would plug in via USB to your laptop, and then the audio outputs form the SL units would go into your mixer to DJ with.
