Unless using something like alchime zinc or scratchtools... There is no way other than doing it manually.

wow that's insane why the hell didn't serato Dj do this in the first place. Not that everyone needs alphabetical ordered crates but it does help.

Hello I am writing because I have a problem since I made the update high Sierra. I found a tutorial on the Internet that allowed me to export my files finder in serato In the crate part of my library to arrange in alphabetical order and I was under mac os sirra 10.12.6. Recently I had to update mac os high sierra And since my library is messy I had to delete All crates To arrange them manually in alphabetical order in serato.Exister it there other utility or a patch like "itch-sync-0_1_4" To export my finder files in serato in the crates library that would allow me to find them in serato in alphabetical order as I put them in my finder. I hope that my explanations have been clear enough so that you can understand me and help me thanks in advance.

Hi charleston, according to Serato support, since High Sierra deleting the newprefs file does not automatically reorganise the crate order. Its not listed as "high priority" to resolve at the moment.
Manual reorganising is the only way for now...
Major pain for me too

J'ai pu résoudre mon problème il suffit seulement de formater le disque dur en mac os etendu et non en apfs

i'm on mojave 10.14.6 and this is the issue i'm facing right now, deleting the neworder.pref does nothing anymore. i ended just making some custom crates so that i can gather main tracks that i play without any hiccups but i miss having my database in alphabetical order. :(

Malheureusement à partir de Mojave on pouvons plus formater en mode macOS étendu et le faite de formater en APFS empêche SERATO D'ORGANISER LES FICHIERS DANS L'ORDRE ALPHABÉTIQUE
