Just to note that for now, you can manually edit the xml file, leaving just those effects you actually want (though I'd suggest backing up the original first).
[user]>Music>_Serato_>SeratoVideo>effects_list.xml
A simple enough workaround, but it would be nice to just be able to do this from within the software, like we can with audio FX--especially if you want the others available in case of need.
An interesting thing that I found when doing this is that before editing my file, my effect selector knob on the SP1 went through the list from start to finish, meaning as soon as I began turning the knob, I got the very first effect, continuing all the way around until the very last position on the dial, which gave me the very last effect.
I wondered whether removing or adding to the list would affect this at all, but it doesn't. This behaviour persisted even though I'd deleted lots of effects from the list. Neat bit of programming there. :)
