all updates on firmware applied
serato dj flashes the virtual decks for a millisecond and says connected .. but virtual decks wont stay on .....

i have now moved to windows 8.0........
to see if that would help and the same problem occurs
i cant change to windows 7 :( so im not out of options

Hello,
While waiting for someone from Serato to cihme in, you may already:
Try all USB inputs on the computer (USB 2.0 generally works better than USB 3.0)
Try another USB cable
Plug the hardware *before* launching SDJ
Try 1.6.0 which is more stable for some people.

was just the right serato dj drivers had to be installed

all working fine now ... but windows keeps crashing / restarting after 30mins play !!!!!!!

there you go its strange ran it 6 hours and restarted 4 times ,, on different tracks every time

Did you do some research on the crash dump, how did you find this info?
