firewire to midi ?

firewire to midi ?

is that possible ? i been lookin online for a firewire to midi cable...why ?
because i own a mac 2.33 and use most of my usb ports...
one for my mouse, becasue i hate using the pad on the keyboard
two for serato... (wouldnt it be cool for serato to have firewire ?)
but to use firewire to midi would be cool.... that way i could use the midi controls too :)

Wouldn't the Midi controller eliminate the Mouse?

Also the mouse could go into a powered USB hub MAYBE with the USB midi controller?

Buy a firewire-based soundcard like M-audio's FW410 (just one example) and a midi cable. Done.
