Hi I have a VCI 300. With SeratoDJ the FWD and BACK buttons don't work. These buttons work perfectly with ITCH to browse the audio files.

Hi nestre,
You mean on the hardware, the round wheel to navigate up or down through the library?

Yes, I can navigate up and down, if I press the center button: Tab to the right. But I can not go back because the FWD and BACK buttons don't work.

Hi nestre,
I've tested with itch and SDJ and the functionality is the same, to choose whether you scroll through the crates or files is selected by pressing the CRATES button on the hardware or the centre of the round circle. this tabs between the files and crates in both ITCH 2.2.2 and SDJ 1.6.2
Maybe I'm not understanding your problem. Please explain

(sorry Matt P, because I am Spanish and my English is not too good).
In SDJ can you navigate the FWD and BACK buttons?
in SDJ if I'm in a folder with songs, I can't go back and select another folder. Only I can do with the mouse.
In ITCH to go back and select another folder I use the BACK button.
I hope you understand ;-)
thanks

Hi nestre,
this is the middle button i'm referring to (See attached pic) This is the way i navigate between tracks and the folders that contain them.
The back button doesn't work for me in ITCH or SDJ like you explained.
What version of ITCH are you using?

I use the middle button, but only going forward. When I get to the last folder with the songs, I can't go back. In ITCH in this case I use the BACK button to return to the directory where the folders are, but in SDJ I don't know what can I do. (I can only do it with the mouse). Rarely does not work the FWD and BACK buttons. Why are they?
Thanks Matt P
Thanks Matt P

nestre,
I understand your problem now, I tested on the FILES panel. I can see the difference between iTCH and SDJ on the VCI300. The back and forward buttons don't navigate in the Files tab. I was testing on the crates and playlists instead.
My mistake I'll log this as a bug.
Thanks

Then I must wait until the problem is corrected in a future release?
Maybe in 1.6.3? ;-)
thanks!

nestre,
I'm not sure when this will be fixed. Since I just logged it. Lets hope the mapping is fixed soon though.
