Control the serato itch software with a 3rd party MIDI device.

Hi,

I just got my new VCI 300 after using serato scratchlive for a minute, and I love it.

For me the only thing it's missing it's the possibility to control the serato itch software with the VCI together with a 3rd party MIDI device. (Trigger finger, padkontrol,...)

After being used to SSL with 5 cue points / 10 Loops fully controlled from an external PAD device I wish this could be done on itch and i guess it 's not that difficult to update for serato engineers.

So please add this MIDI feature to itch!!!!!

+1

I would love to be able to program the things not mapped in the vci to a different controller.

or let us have a few user programmable buttons on the vci.
---- ability to toggle from crates to prepare (use the file button)
---- map a button to add a track to prepare (perhaps shift + load track)

Gotta agree.

This should be possible.

The 2 photos provided by seratosnatch are not helping me.
What is that? How does it work?

That is a KorgNanoKontrol. It will not help with Itch but can help with other Apps like Ableton Live.

Seranosnatch: Thanks for the tip. I 'll have to have a look at that.

Anyways any updates on what I was asking in the begining?
