Anyone ever order from Alibaba?

I wouldn't get electronics, but possibly looking to get some flight cases for my 4 Intimidator spot 350s. Cases range anywhere from $350 to $450 from the usual suspects here in the states.
I found on Alibaba that the case is around $99 to $130. Of course shipping would be in there, but you think it would be more than $100 to ship each one? I reached out to them, but has anyone had any experience in general with ordering there?

from my accumulated knowledge of alibaba there is minimum purchases that have to be made. ALso shipping takes forever (shipping containers)

Thanks for the info.
I reached out to them via email and got a good response already.
Don't need a minimum (I would be ordering 2 anyway). Total with shipping would be $580 for the 2. Not bad if you ask me. I got a quote for 650 for 2 from a local vendor but it would be 1/4" plywood instead of 3/8". I'm the only one that handles my gear but I would be afraid the 1/4" would be a little too flimsy, especially if I want to stack stuff on top.

what qualifications do you need to order from them? Can anyone do it? Like Without a business license?

I think so...it only said a minimum of 1. Plus I have my corp ien number for my DJ business so I would assume I could order.

i've ordered from them before. shipping was cool as well. most of the items i've ordered came by air (not by sea).
the key to alibaba is to find a good supplier and stick to them. there are so many it's hard to filter out the decent ones. also minimum quantity can be issue if you want a small order. in those situations i went in with other people.
i would continue to buy from ali, and highly recommend it. it's just not as easy as amazon.com.

You don't need to be a business, you can buy personal and buy just 1 item.
I used them a little while ago to buy a bunch of tiny android PCs that had i5's in em for 100 bux each.
My buddy at work whos always tinkering with electronics uses alibaba religiously to order boards and parts.

I ordered 2 LED up lights 2 years ago as test lights before I committed to ordering 20 lights. Both lights had issues. One shocked you when you plugged it in. The other shot out sparks. So basically I never used them again. All the US lighting companies get their lights from China and they get them for super cheap but they work out the deals where they product test all the lights and they get to return all the bad lights. It's a hassle for us regular customers to send back 5 or 10 lights to China. That's why I pay the extra money and get it from a US company. They deal with all the bull crap so we don't have to.

I get that for lights. I'm talking about flight cases. No electronics involved, just wood and screws
