Just jumped on the bandwagon and started using Serato DJ 1.6 with an SL4. There are very audible pops and clicks when playing any song in my library. This is not an issue when I use SSL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am also having an issue with cue points starting correctly in relative mode. I will have my CDJ cue'd to it's starting point and then select my cue in SDJ. When i hit play, it will start at random places in front or behind the cue point. Not happening on SSL.

Hey DJDQ,

Concerning your first issue, What is your buffer size set to in Serato DJ > Setup > Audio? Also can you open System Preferences > Rane SL4, let me know what the USB buffer size is set to there as well.

This is a known issue in Serato DJ, we are working on getting this fixed for a future release.

SL4 is set to 8, SDJ is set to 1.

Hey DJDQ,

If you decrease your buffer size in SDJ to say 5 or 10 does that stop the pops and clicks?

Hey guys,

Been giving it a run, no changes…No other devices plugged in, no wifi, bluetooth etc.
SSL works fine.

Can you try increasing the buffer in the Rane panel to 12ms?

After that can you try it out? Let me know if there is a change.

Have you tried all USB ports?
