Just tried SDJ 1.5.2 on my Windows 8, 64-bit laptop, where SSL 2.5 is running without any problems,

but SDJ 1.5.2 stand-alone player cracks every 2 seconds when I play a .wav file - which does not happen with SSL 2.5.

... and I was able to avoid this cracking effect ... after I've disabled the "Use Auto Gain 92db" option.

Why is this otpion on by default? Horrible when playing a track the first time!

Although it is and was disabled in SSL 2.5, it is enabled in SDJ 1.5.2. I thought the settings will be taken from SSL 2.5?

I had the same situation on PC and laptop!

This should be option should be disabled by default!
