I'm having the same problem it seems like a lot are having with the twitch. It doesn't light up, or get recognized by my mac when plugged in. The only solution I've found is in the forums, which worked once was to install the drivers on a pc and plug the twitch into that. It saw the twitch so I unplugged it and back into the macbook. It worked until I shut down serato and the laptop, then booted up later to play again.
once again the macbook and serato dj are not seeing the twitch, no lights. tried plugging back into pc again, but this time I get "drivers could not be installed correctly" and it still doesn't work on the mac.

btw. I've tried all the
use different usb cord
use different usb port
reinstall drivers 15 times
don't use a usb hub
The problem is very obviously the usb drivers for the twitch, and I realise it's not a serato problem. But I really hope someone at serato can put a little pressure on novation to fix this as they seem to be ignoring the problem that a lot of twitch users are having.
I'm really kicking myself right now because I debated for two weeks between this and a native instruments controller. If I had gone with that instead I would know it would work but it seems I have bought a $300 paper weight instead. so frustrating to have thrown money away.

Hey danny.slag,
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing these issues. There are a few things we can try. Firstly, we're going to remove those drivers from your computer. Your Novation Twitch should be able to run with your Mac's onboard class compliant driver. Below I have attached some instructions that show you how to remove these drivers:
*Please ensure follow these instructions carefully. Also ensure the Serato DJ software is closed:
1) Open Macintosh HD
2) Select System
3) Select Library
4) In this window locate and select Extensions
5) Locate NovationUSBAudo.kext
Once you have located this .kext file, you can go ahead and delete it. Once you deleted, plug in your controller before relaunching the Serato DJ software.
Let me know how you go with this!
Cheers
Mak T

I deleted the novationusaudio.kext as you suggested and still no response.
When the unit is plugged in it's supposed to have lights running on the touch strips, nothing lights up when plugged in with or without serato open.
