Watch folder function?

Intoner 6:45 AM - 6 January, 2009
Is there anything like this being implemented?
I keep all my music organized in one folder on my computer, and it would be much easier if serato had some sort of "watch this folder for changes" option, so that any time new files were added, it would automatically add them to serato.

It's a huge pain to try and remember all of the new tracks that I've added to my collection and which ones I've added to serato.

1. Make Crates with the same name of your folder.
2. Import your Files in the Folders related to your Crates
3. Rename Genres if wantet ...

4. I do sorting my tracks right now. - Do not import all tracks at one time ! This will mess you up and drive crazy.

5. It's enough if you do not connect your Controller to ITCH and do a scan with "BUILD OVERVIEWS".

6. It might be a horror, if there would be an automatic sorting in the crate list, and you have to sort out the new tracks, to put them in somewhere else...

have a look at this :
www.mp3tag.de
Sort your Tracks by Genre, mark them, and do a Drag and Drop into a Folder.
This works well, if your tracks are tagged correctly!

You can use ScratchTools to do this. It is free, have a look at it:
