i saw the new serato performance lp's GLASS edition came out but theyre 10"..

Ive never used any but 12" lp's on my tech 1200's.. Is there a benefit to using a smaller diameter lp?? I do love to scratch n cut.. and am used to 12".. Any advice as to the 10" vs the 12"?
