Is the DDJ-SP1's slicer mode available when using DVS or is it for controllers only?

If it isn't available for DVS - why?

Hey sinesthetix,

It definitely works with DVS, you can see that in the video we put out for the SP1 with the SRT: Watchwww.youtube.com (check out 2mins)

You need to have beatgrids set for the tracks you want to use the slicer with. To see the beatgrids you will need to have Sync turned on in the setup menu.

Interesting, so does the track you're slicing have to be synced, or does sync just have to be enabled similar to how beatgrids showed in ssl with the bridge enabled?

Sync just has to be enabled in the setup menu :) Just like SSL and the Bridge.
