I'm trying to upgrade from SSL 2.2 to 2.5. Yesterday I tried installing 2.5 and kept getting an error message saying something about .kext files not installing properly. Then when the install got to the end, I got a message saying installation failed. When I opened Scratch Live though, it said I was on 2.5 in the setup screen. Not trusting this to work properly, I downgraded back to 2.2.
Today, I renamed SSL in my apps folder to "Scratch Live 2.2" so if the install wasn't successful again, I would be able to use 2.2 for my gig tonight (plus I like to bang around on a new version at home for awhile before I use it out anyway, and I wouldn't have time to do this). Then I tried to upgrade again. This time I got the same error message during the install about the .kext files not installing properly, but at the end it said installation successful.
My questions are what are the .kext files that didn't install, why would it say "installation successful" after the error, and how do I make sure 2.5 actually installed correctly so I don't have any problems?

Those are the Drivers.
Close Scratch Live
Go to Mac HD/System/Library/Extension and delete the SeratoScratchDriver.Kext
Re install 2.5 and that should be it.
Or just stick to 2.2

If I delete those drivers to be able to install 2.5, will 2.2 still work properly? In other words, can I keep both versions on my computer at the same time to use one or the other as I see fit? I want to keep 2.2 to gig with for now, and mess around with 2.5 at home until I feel confident using it out.
