Everything was working good until I updated QuickTime to fix the "yellow caution sign" when uploading songs, and then... no audio output to headphone and master output. Please Help.

Hi Hydropro,

Windows XP is not supported. It is advised you update to W7 or W8.

Anyway, please check if you have selected the standard PC output device in your audio settings as default, do not select the DDJ SX as default device.

Cheers!!

Hi Hydropro,

Can you let me know if you are able to get sound out of the controller with just the computer. Not with Serato DJ, but just any audio?

Is your DDJSX activating the software?

Try these steps..

-> Right click on 'My Computer' icon on your desktop
-> Select 'Manage'
-> In the left hand panel select 'Device Manager'
-> In the middle panel select the 'Arrow' next to 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers
-> From the drop down, search for 'Pioneer DDJSX'
-> Once found Right Click and Disable.

Hi there, so has this worked for you?

I just got the problem myself.
Yesterday I was mixin and recording everything normal but today I turn all on and no sound.
The fader meter is in red or green depends on the volume but the Master Volume Meter doesn't move... No sound coming through.

I went do device manager and clicked test play, the sound comes out of the Woofers normaly as if there were no problem. But when I put on Serato DJ again I put a track on and nothing...

Help us SERATO! pleeeeaasse!
Thanks.

I got really frustrated with it not working, returned the controller to Best Buy. I'm going to get another DDJ-SX controller and hopefully it won't have the same problem.

Hi Hydropro,

Sorry to hear that, can you let me know if the problem is resolved with a new unit?

I'd like to know if the hardware was the problem here

Thanks
