Could I please have your computers full specs incl, graphics card? Also a list of all USB devices connected?

Do you have this issue when you first open the video software? Or only when you play certain songs?

Do you get any specific error messages?

Have you installed the K-lite Codec? If not try getting it from here: www.free-codecs.com rebooting your machine, then trying again.

Doesn't happen with every video and it only happens for half the video, no error messages just flashes or flickers.

I didn't install k-lite I don't know what it is or why I should.

A video can play just fine and next time it's played it flickers

All videos are same format, bought from legitimate mp4 sites

K-lite is a basic codec pack that is utilised by your OS to successfully read videos. Having the correct codecs installed is crucial to running Serato Video successfully.

As a trouble shooting step I recommend that you install that codec.

Does the software crash with every track now or only some? Do tracks that used to play fine still play?

Were there any other changes to your system that happened before the crash?

Only change I made was the codec you told me which I have uninstalled so I can play video

I still get flashing through first half of the video, not always the same videos and I can some times cue the video in my other player and change over quick to the non flashing video.

This is getting to be bs, I never had any problems when using virtual dj numark video

Also can you let me know, the flashing and flickering. Does this appear:

a, In the preview windows? (ie, in the Serato software)
b, In your main vide output? (ie, second screen or projector)
c, In the offline player if you have your hardware disconnected?

A&B yes flashing half wa through video then normalizes, my full specs have been shared with Serato before no issue there.

I just started using this a month ago and the issue has been from day 1, again it's not every video and it's not always the same video

Sorry that I missed your previous comment.

Can you please try navigating to Scratch Live > Setup > Plugins > Serato Video > Output.

Can you make sure that your video buffer size is set to 1gb (the same value as your vram) also can you make sure that v-sync and frame blending are turned off.

Can you make sure that you have the latest version of Quicktime installed as well?
