i bought a Prodigy Fx and a serato unit. I cannot hook both up to save my life. I connected the serato to the cd direst output and could hear sound but can mix from one music to another.

I have never used serato and i misplace the instruction manual. 2 questions

1. how do i hook up my serato to the produgy fx
--------- should the serato cds be inserted on both cd decks ?
---------- what am i suppose to do to be able to use my croossfader to blend from one track to another ?
-----------what side of the serato unit am i suppose to plug up to the mixer?
--------Do i need to purchase a sound card ?
---------How do i Blend songs with serato ?

MY APOLOGIES FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS...........THAKS!

Here is a link to a page that you can download the manual from.
scratchlive.net

Plug the direct outs of the cdj channel one and two into the inputs of the SL-1. Use the line 1 and line 2 outputs from the box into line inputs on your mixer. Make sure the channel on the mixer is switched to line. IN the Scratchlive software go into the set-up / hardware screen and select "line" as your audio input level.

That should do the trick.
